(Ohwait, just Googled it. Yeah, I heard of it, and thought it was a massive joke, because it was on a current affair show, and the two main ones here in Australia are big jokes.)

Lawliet, no matter how many times you call this epic, I have only about twenty more minutes on this computer, so I'm not going to bother reading past the first three paragraphs of that Wikipedia article.

But I will stimulate some discussion with what little knowledge I have about the Anonymous.

If they're the same Anonymous that I've heard of from my one IRL aquaintance who is savvy of the internet goings-on, then they're rumored to be the driving force behind the hate of the internet. The typical horror story of impersonating a friend from school on MySpace and provoking suicide may or may not have come from them.

I'm pretty neutral when it comes to Scientology. It doesn't really affect me what they do, and I don't even care about the internet censorship stuff, because making fun of Tom Cruise isn't funny anymore. Seriously.

Although, if it's really true that the Anonymous were behind those stories of MySpace impersonations, then I'm completely against them, for my own reasons.

Most of the MySpace crap are people who suffer from phishing. And I know I will piss people off with this one, but majority of MySpace users ARE NOT computer savvy. They probably don't even know the remedial common sense crap.

Then again, there is Evil Anon and Good Anon.

Evil Anon is rare, Anon normally fights for good.

That wasn't Anonymous. Anonymous gets blamed for a bunch of shit they didn't have any association with.

But then again, they're blamed for an equal amount of shit they did do. But I am pretty daisies sure that Anonymous has never killed anyone, whether directly or not.

Vtech doesn't count. I don't know if Cho was an Anon, or if that screenshot was faked, but he was an individual acting of his own accord,in any case.

Anonymous is, for the most part, just bored and looking for something amusing to pass the time. Thus, a chaotic neutral alignment is the best assessment.
