All this means is that he can't run with the Democrats. Nothing bad has actually transpired here.

Move along.

I propose a motion,

Stephen Colbert create his own Political Party the "Blackjack and Hookers Party".

You know what? Forget the party part.

Eh, you're right. But, the thing is, I'm sure he won't run as a Republican, and, if he ran as an independent, no one would vote for him.

The Democrats just want to stop him from

A)Makind fun of them

B)Having any chance of winning, therefore putting them all to shame, and turning the American Government into a circus.

I thought it was funny too, guys, but Fuck no I'm not going to vote for him.

Because Barack and Hillary could be such better candidates.

I'm really actually quite glad I can't vote yet.

I have so many good choices, I just wouldn't know what to do...

i agree hilary is a moron, but that doesnt make barack or colbert any better.

in fact democrats in general just arent my cupa. they cut military benefits, so i vote the other way if i can. and even most of the republicans now adays arent that great. all the politicians are starting to blur. hell, most of em cant even decide what they want. really the only one who says what his past indicates he will say is ron paul....but hes awfully liberal... :?

The fatal flaw of Democracy is that different people have different needs. Of course, there's no solution to this, because the only apparent solution is to start seperating people into nations based on their wealth level, and something just seems wrong about that.

What he said is basically true though. Because of our large size, we can no longer actually represent ourselves anymore so instead we elect candidates to do so. And this election process is all based on who most appeals to us, which usually implies large amounts of cash. And in the end what our candidate was promising might be nothing like what they give us. It's a very flawed system indeed, but there are the rare times it works perfectly.
