I belong to several other forums, and normally I'd post this on one of them. However, due to the fact that I know that almost everyone on those forums are either lazy or imbeciles or both, and I have yet to see that from you people, I am posting it here. Anyhow, I'd like to play one game of D&D where not everyone is either incompetent in the area of mathematics, or completely anal sticks in the mud. In other words, I want to find intelligent, imaginative, and humorous, people to play with. Now, as I have been told, quite often, I am a much too brutal DM, often killing adventurers before they get twenty feet outside their starting point. I do not disagree with these assessments of my DM'ing, but I do think that they are a tad exaggerated. I usually let them get forty feet. Hehe. Anyway, the point is, I'd like someone else to volunteer to be DM. If no one volunteers, I'll have a friend of mine in this unnecessary abomination we call "real life" do the DM'ing via phone. Or just get him to join AZ. Anyhoo, whoever becomes DM can decide starting levels and such. Until then I suggest you reserve a character class. I suppose we'll need at least 3 other people and at most 7. My character will be the Bard. Wheee! As amazingly literate as it is, I am half asleep as I write this, so I'll grab some shut-eye and check back later.

Aaaah I'd love to play. Seeing as I'm in Florida away from all my D&D friends, this can help me refresh my memory on how to play.
That and you might make a much better DM than ours, haha

I would join, but I just have so many other things going on lately... my friends have suggested I try DMing before and I'd be thrilled to, but I think I should get more game experience first. I've only gotten to play a handful of sessions as a player, and definitely don't know all the rules. But I hope you find someone who can help!

Well, I only recently got back into D&D so the only rules I know are 3.whatever. The group should have at the least 5 people. I was hoping that the major stuff would be Forum Based, seeing as how I have but a 3DS and it's a total bitch trying to find chat sites or whatever that actually load. Anywhom, we so far have: A Bard, a Thief, a (Pacifist) Druid, a Sorcerer and a (Girly) Cleric. I think we're good to go. Although, if we had to, we could squeeze in one or two more people.

Please people, you really don't want me to be DM, trust me. Can someone please volunteer to be DM?

Welp, looks like my friend managed to make a Profile. So anyhow, draco master will be DM. Since he is quite trusting, I'm sure he'll have us use the honor system for rolls. Natural twentys all around! Er, at least try to keep the NT's to every fourth or so roll. That way, it's like we're not cheating!

have no fear i have finally arrived your fateful DM (or as i like to think of it "god".) well i don't have the most experience dm'ing I've learned from the very man who taught me the very joys of D&D. iv had a story in the bake of my mind of a forgotten realm unheard of by any man woman or child, where there are 3 moons and the sun only shows its face for 7 hours of the day. a land where vampires and lycanthrope run wild, and demons rule over the "humanoid scum." a place were humans ether submit to demon tyranny. or they fight for the resistance and survival. now for the logistical part this will be a Vinson 3.5 campaign. i like to start people off at lvl 5 so u can actually fight some real monsters and not die. i haven't really bin voted in to dm but i was told by objexeon to come in and dm so here i am here's my ideas pleas except me.

Some tips bro.

Multiple posts are generally frowned upon; that's why you have an edit button.

And spelling goes a long way.

Well, I bodaciously have no clue what the hell half of that meant, can you post a link for the rules of the game, I havn't played anything like D&D for awhile. Lastly can you make a character roster so we can know a estimate of the players?
