AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Here we reminisce about our first times on AZ. How we felt, our first impressions of everyone, what we thought everyone thought of us, what we thought of new members, just general remembrance type stuff. We can also talk about any past experiences we've had in the forum that we'd like to remember. This is sort of a counterpart to Need Runes4's "Old AZ Comics" talkthread in the Le Comic section only this is about the forum community rather than the webcomic. I'll start.

I never really got into the forum until about a year ago, but I started reading the webcomic after joining a Nintendo themed guild on Gaia a couple of years ago. I think my first entrance was pretty well-received, but I was still trying to find my "niche" in the community. I know for a fact I've rustled some people off, but I'm sure I've made up with those I've angered. All in all I haven't really made any "big strides" in the community, except for the attempt at playing the role of therapist for those who need it.

NOTE: This is NOT a place to bring up old gripes or arguments. This is for "man, remember the good times?" type recollections, not shit-stirring contests.

If I remember correctly, when I started out I could have best been described as "a little shit".

I basically joined, made a few dozen posts, and then lurked forever. And then the Art Fun thread came along and saved us all.

Back when I joined, I wasn't a moderator.

So would I then, I joined only a month and a half after the forum was created nearly...what? 4 coming onto 5 years ago.

When I first joined my avatar was an animated gif. of GIR dancing.

I also didn't have spell check so nearly everything was misspelled.

When I first joined I used to do LPs, Forum Adventures, Review Thread Things, but now I pretty much sit around and- OH GOD WHY DID I HAVE TO STOP BEING COOL AHHHHH
