Hey, you guys. You come from all sorts of weird exotic places, don't you?

Well, I think it'd be fun to know all the different sort of slang that gets used in your area.

Seeing as I'm from Glasgow, most of the slang involves fighting and drinking. Like, if somebody says 'Yer teas oot' ( or your tea is out), it pretty much means you're going to be in a fight, and soon.
And if somebody says that they're 'Blootered' it means drunk.

But, If you've 'not got a scooby' it means that you 'don't have a clue'. I think it's rhyming slang; Scooby Doo - Clue.
Actually I'm not ging to list anymore, because there's so much slang here, it's unbelievable. We even have slang for 'slang', it's 'patter' (hence the title).

So yeah, slang me up, baby.

I wish I was more Dutch. I'm just.. Dutch Canadian.

Oh right, I'm Canadian. I live in North Mexico with 11 other Canadians, and beavers. And Maple syrup.

I live in California and the only "slang" I ever hear is someone using the word like often. I guess that's how people sound Californian these days.

So like he said she said they said I said like they were like all hoopy froods and like I was like ugh and they were like ha and then like we were all like ha ha and it got like serious.

Back in Virginia we just use the word "legit" to describe everything.

"Legit" was catching on down here too, but I don't here any one say it anymore; pretty glad it didn't catch on.

In the general Boston area "wicked" is used a bit.
It's used as a synonym for very.
i.e.: wicked dark, wicked awesome, etc.

I'm from Las vegas

A lot of people here say 'Oh geez" in a satirical way and they pronounce it so it sounds more like 'ohgies'. Our many, many, daisies too many Hawaiians also go "808!" the area code of Hawaii when something exciting happens.

Can... can you say 'aboot'?

She doesn't. You should hear her say Drama or Pasta.

I can't bother myself keeping up with these young whippersnappers' slang and their fancy rocking music and their Facepage.

I'm from Ohio, so the only slang we have is used to criticize every other state or accent.
