So, I don't see this anywhere off the bat, although maybe I am not looking hard enough, but I know we have some anime fans here and I have seen some Haruhi pics floating around so I thought you guys may be interested:

Yes, I know its a stream, I don't know where you can download it, but the quality isn't too bad. It is of course subbed. If you notice it says Episode 8 because with season 2 they are re-airing the first 14 episodes of season 1 as well as 14 new episodes comprising season 2. They are aired together and in chronological order therefore the first 7 episodes of season 2 were really the first seven episodes of season 1. However this Episode 8 Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody is the first episode of the NEW content.

Edit: Ok, now I watched it, I can't help but laugh at hearing Kyon thinking so fast about facebattling Mikuru.

I just watched it.

Seems on par with the rest of this. I was expecting something more disjointed from the first season.

On another anime-related note, Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagann is going to be released on DVD in the UK soon.

They are releasing the series in chronological order including the old episodes. That means they are probably going to hit most of the old ones before airing the new ones. They only air them every friday and as of now only one new episode has been aired (bamboo leaf rhapsody). if you want to check if a new one is out I suggest going here:

Scroll down to 2009 version. The new ones have descriptions and obviously dont have the same names as the ones from 2008. Or go here:

that site only updates with new episodes so if you dont see one there, it probably hasn't been aired.

It sucks its so slow, and don't expect a new episode this friday either (June 12 2009). Last week they showed remoted island syndrome part 1 so you know part 2 is going to follow tomorrow, maybe next week we will finally have a new one, but also maybe not. good news is there are only like 4-5 episodes left of the original series before they are all new episodes.
