so this thread is for posting some stories that happened to u or that are made up. every post must be story. i'll start

was hanging out with some people who were way cooler than me (they did graffiti) and i was trying to mack on this one girl kind of who i liked the instagram of and my friend who was my liaison into this society was like ":/ at least try harder" end of the night rolled around and i was like "yeah i better walk my other friend who is the wife of my liaison back home since they have to take the bart and all" and the girl i was macking on who was driving said something that i didn't hear cos music was very loud and i didn't want to be all awkward and embarrass myself further and reveal myself as a non-cool by being like "lol i can't hear u right now!" so anyway i just got out at the bart with my friend (liason's wife) & after we got out of the car said friend was like, "u know she explicitly said you were invited to stay the night at her house. did you not hear that? by the way i don't even want you on my train ride home"

Bay Area Rapid Transit, just like our DART (Dallas area rapid transit)

This is important info for you to know cause it took me like 5 years to figure out DART stood for something and wasn't just like, a brand name

but its in all caps




And like 70% of the signs that say "DART" say "Dallas Area Rapid Transit" underneath the DART acryonym

implying that I read signs on the dart

my current roommate rides them too, but at least he's good at showers and doesn't lock himself (and the bathroom we share) up for 3 hours at a time while he PREPARES to go out like my old roommate

I take em when I need to go to downtown for a day trip or something, because parking/driving downtown is infinitely worse than whatever happens on the DART. Though usually my dart rides are pretty quiet and uneventful. Last time there was only one crazy person yelling at random folks at the station. The time before that, there was a guy going around playing some gambling game, he was actually kind of cool other than the fact he was trying to scam people out of small amounts of cheddar. At least he was friendly about it, I guess.

When I was in college I took the dart bus to and from my apartment, that wasn't too bad either as long as I had headphones to block out people talking and stuff.
