YOU GUISE.

After owning the game for the Nintendo 64 for eight years, this morning I finally beat Ocarina of Time.

How totally proud of me are you?

...Crap. This may just motivate me to go back to playing OoT. Even though I'm gonna shit my pants in the Shadow Temple, more likely than not. :|

Like, totally proud.

I don't think I've actually beaten it myself. I've seen it been finished, but...

I don't think anyone in my bloodline has ever finished a Zelda game.

...Laaaame.

That is quite an amazing accomplishment. I managed to do it only a couple years back, so I still remember the feeling. I have yet to beat Majora's Mask though....

Actually, the Shadow Temple was easy. It's a very straightforward dungeon. Each room is its own puzzle, leading in a straight line to the boss. Of course, that kind of makes it a pain if you die and have to go back to the entrance. Just keep your wits about you, and run around in circles like a dumbass when Navi warns you of Wallmasters.

It's really interesting to note the dungeon designing process throughout the game. Every dungeon after the Water Temple has those dumb silver rupees. I think there are better ways to make a room puzzle. But it was the first 3-D Zelda game, what can you expect? Overall, the whole thing is very cut and dry, room by room. But everything looks nice, and the thing everyone loves is the vast overworld anyways. And it's nice to know that Zelda's dungeon style is constantly improving. It gives me hope for the future of video gaming.

I remember when I first beat Ocarina of Time.

First thing I did was go fight Ganon with the iron boots. Because he was too daisies easy the first time.

The only problem with this game is the missing key in the Water Temple.

Note taken. :awesome:

I'd have done that anyway. Only, I'm never able to keep my wits about me. I'm mostly worried because during the Bottom of the Well, it took me and my friend's combined wits just to make it out without pissing ourselves when things started jumping out at us. We're sissies.

Great, now play Majora's Mask (and by play I mean collect all the masks and as many heart pieces as possible) without using a guide, else you're a fucking busta. Way better than Ocarina of Time in nearly all regards.

I feel kind of bad about Majora's Mask. When I first got it, I also got a strategy guide, and used it. Now, even though when I first got the game I only played through half the game, then let it collect dust, I read the guide all the way through. And wouldn't you know it that the game was so goddamn memorable that I retained everything except for the dungeon parts. So, I guess I did Great Bay Temple and Stone Tower Temple guide free, but that's it. D:

Oh, please, people.

You wanna know the only temple you should ever have trouble with in OoT?

Water Temple.

Not just because of the agonizing water-level gaems, but because the whole place is just a fuckin' maze. I'd keep playing OoT over and over again because it is so awesome if not for having to worry about going through the Water Temple again. D:

Shadow Temple is probably the easiest dungeon in the game, and so is the preceding Well dungeon you go through to get the Lens of Truth- Play song, enter door, defeat mini-boss, bam, you're done. :/ The only thing that should worry you in Shadow Temple is
