I like to use the word "tad" a lot.
EDIT: Now I don't use it a lot, I like it a lot.

Would you say that you like it just a tad?

Anything that's overly long and makes me sound more intelligent.

Axonometric, polyhedron, chronometer and geodesic are some examples that come to mind.

Ha! spellcheck doesn't even recognise 'axonometric'!

I think we should use this thread for least favourite words too.

I don't like the word 'obtain' - it's an incredibly awkward word with that 'ob' sound to start it off - then it immediately jumps onto the equally awkward 'tain' sound. I don't like it and I avoid using it.

However, 'acknowledge' is just as awkward as 'obtain' but I like using the word 'acknowledge' (it's also one of those words which is so often on the tip of your tongue but you just can't remember it when you need it).

Lackadaisical is a great word

lackadaisical is a great fucking word.
I'm a big fan of words that can paint you a picture with. Something that can describe a lot with just a little. Ominous, Cantankerous, Destitute, Ecstatic, Bliss, Jalopy, that kinda of stuff. If i had to pick my fave, it'd have to be Moxie.
