So yeah, as everyone knows, some believe that the Mayans predicted the end of the world on the 21st. Regardless, people are going to go apeshit. Do you guys think it's going to happen, or do you think it will just be a regular day filled with panic and looting?

The maya didn't use leap years because they didn't need to keep track of the seasons. The amount of days from maya to now is still the same because the maya don't use a period of 12 months. They have a series of nested wheels that act as a sort of universal clock.

That whole "Mayans don't count leap years" thing was popping up all over the place a while back and it drove me nuts. I mean, the whole shebang is just a calendar reset, but whatever.
