First of all, what ever gave you the idea it was a bowtie? This is a scarf.
Well,
It's three scarves, you couldn't decide which was the best, so you just tied them together.
Secondly, of course you're wearing pants. It's just impractical to have them rendered in every frame. So they only appear visably on special occasions. You may be a crazy hobo running through space and time, but you're not a nudist!
