Well, I bodaciously have no clue what the hell half of that meant, can you post a link for the rules of the game, I havn't played anything like D&D for awhile. Lastly can you make a character roster so we can know a estimate of the players?

Alright, here comes the questions.

What races are allowed? The core ones only, or ones from expanded rulebooks, or even homebrew ones (run by you first of course, as a DM myself, I understand the need to check)

Are traits allowed? On that note, what about flaws? Which feats are okay? What's the starting gold amount? What are our starting builds like? Can we use the pointbuy system? Can I have a pony Santa? How do our characters know each other, if at all? Where will this be done?

Okay, I THINK I'm questioned out.

As co/Full DM due to my friends terrible internet connection, annoying need for sleep, and sadly insufficient vernacular ability, I say we keep things easy. Starting level is 5, you have only core races(Human, Elf, Half-elf, Halfling, Dwarf, Half-Orc, and uh... I think that's it), and yes, following a character sheet is advised. Having names like Hugh Jass, Richard Munch, and Fa Kyu is not only hilarious, but also will get you rewarded, especially if you can come up with an especially inventive one. Doubly so if it reflects your characters class. (i.e. a thief whose name was Ignatius Steel, or I. Steel.) Everyone has... let's say 1000 gold. You may now post your characters and their background stories. If you wish to have met another persons character previous to this adventure, you must ask them. If anyone here has their own guidebooks, especially a monster manual, and would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated, seeing as how I don't. Seeing as how they don't really have any actual affect on the gameplay, you may put down any god you want, even if you made it up. You may also be any alignment sans Chaotic Evil. If you absolutely have to have an evil character, Lawful is preferred, but Neutral is acceptable. Anyways:

Unchanging stuff-
Username:
Name:
Gender:
Race:
Age: Min/Max is determined by race.
Class:
Alignment:
Deity: Go nuts
Characters description: 2 lines or you may use a picture. Include height and weight, hair and eye color. Personality is not necessary as you will show your personality as we play.

I will roll five of your stats, although I'm giving you an automatic 18 in one stat of your choice. There will be feats at a later time. Now, I need to go look something up real quick.

Hold it, that age thingie right there. That's a problem. Unless we're playing a human warrior or something, that's not accurate at all. The average age for a human wizard, if nothing else, is around 30 or so, to say nothing of the races that DON'T have a pitifully short life. Elves? Even warrior elves are ancient by Human standards.

Here are some helpful links (we're using 3.5e right?)
- http://www.d20srd.org/ for easy reference to the rules and mechanics
- http://www.myth-weavers.com for online character sheets, also has nifty built-in stuff that automatically calculates your saves and modifiers.

And yeah, I'd prefer it if the DM took the effort to make his posts legible.

Question: do we just roll hp?

duly noted, i don't get on threads often and the only reason I'm here is because a friend asked me to dm. as for my spelling i have a chronic case of being a dumb booty, so I'm sorry about that but there's nothing i can do about it. ill keep in mind to use the edit button and work on my spelling more, but im only using Firefox so the spelling thing just try to bear with it
