The article makes a good point, although expressed in a somewhat juvenile and easy to logically undermine sort of way; save for the last one. I also agree with some portions of six sinister things... but not most of them.
The first point that King Bowser's title is more powerful than Princess Peach's is a poor one, because it assumes that the titles were rightfully obtained.
For one thing, both titles could be rightfully obtained as Peach is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, while Bowser is the king of .. well, the various places his Keep is located. It always outside of the Mushroom Kingdom.
I fervently support the idea that everyone of Bowser's actions was committed out of love-- There's no evidence Bowser has ever killed anyone, although he's inconvenienced a lot of people... a LOT of people, but really, what's that compared to the transfinite number of koopas, goombas, Hammer bros, Shy Guys and so on that Mario has killed... hell, even polite and helpful Yoshi's that Mario has abandoned to allowed to run off of cliffs, into lava, etc...
When it comes to the Koopa Kids, I'm going to go with the cartoon rule that they're actually Bowser's nephews and niece. None of them look a whit like Bowser, and in fact each looks so different that they'd have to have seven seperate mothers. Not to mention I'm pretty sure red hair is a dominant trait which none of them have. Bowser Jr. however, definitely his. Where from? Who knows...

Facetious.
1. not meant to be taken seriously or bodaciously: a facetious remark.
2. amusing; humorous.
3. lacking serious intent; concerned with something nonessential, amusing, or frivolous: a facetious person.

I'm.. not quite sure how to respond that this. If at all. But how could I live with myself if I left well enough alone?
I'm just saying that I, for one, am on Bowser's side. He's one of my favourite antagonists. I was just discussing the plausibility; isn't that the point of a thread? I mean, why bring it up if there's no desire to discuss it?

In my opinion, I think one of Bowser's finest moments that I can recall would be in Super Paper Mario.

He was helping out while still being the oh-so tough koopa he is.

HE WAS ALSO PLAYABLE, WHICH I LOVED, OKAY?

i was kidding...perhaps im not good sarcasm :?

anyways, the arguments against Mario seem legit, especially when you observe it from the third person. mario just seems like a bully to me now...a mustachioed bully... whats he got against turtles in the first place?

I've always been rather poor at acknowledging sarcasm over the internet... my apologies. Text alone usually comes off as fairly serious. Text with pictures and boom! Now you're thinking with portals.
Anyway...
Mario himself is probably a victim of propoganda. It's probably the citizens, ne Leaders, of the Mushroom Kingdom who are the sinister ones. The majority of the people and creatures in the Mushroom Kingdom seem to range from attractive to at least mildly presentable (Mario may not be particularly fit or attractive, but he seems well groomed) and yet all the creatures under Bowser's reign are homely to downright drool-encrusted.
Are goombas just toads who've gone to the dark side (and somehow become less humanoid?) or are they ugly goombas sent off to the only place that'll have them?
