Well it's everyone's own decision to join or not. Me, I'm a bit exhausted from them right now.

Personally, I like the idea of these internet games a lot better than the mafia games in real life. Out here in not-internet land it's just done with playing cards with 4 rolls and a "he said/she said" justice system. I never liked the real world games since it's always trivial who's picked to get lynched (unless you're the cop who's run the lucky chance of running into a mafia) and the best defense you can hope to use amounts to "Guys I swear I didn't do it!" Usually the person next to you ends up voting you to get lynched because you had a numb booty cheek and needed to shift your weight (because it makes more sense that you shifted because you're mafia...obviously) and the rest of everyone else bandwagons because, honestly, what criteria is there for choosing one person over another? 99% of Mafia lynches in the real world turn out like this:

Guy next to you: I think it's you.
You: What?
Guy: I heard you move when everyone's eyes were closed.
You: I had an itch in my crotch...
Town's mayor guy: *you* you have 60 seconds to present your case.
You: I...I just did...seriously I had an itch in my crotch, what possible combination of words within the English language can make that more convincing?
Town's mayor guy: Is that the end of your testimony then?
You: Yeah...?
Town's mayor guy: Alright, all in favor of lynching *you*?
*majority of people raise their hands*
You: You guys are dicks...

At least in your games there's that air of uncertainty in testimonies given the larger amount of roles and different actions that can play off of each other. You guys at least attempt to be strategic with it rather than trying to hang the guy next to you for having crotch itch.

I've really like how Mafia games play out on the forums, even the trainwrecks, and Reyo's got some good points why.

I haven't joined one in a while because I can't really guarantee I'll be online, but maybe the next game after Noff's I might if all goes well.
