[I'm going to hurry this up to the next day, just pretend nothing happened from the last update until now.]

Yawning and stretching, you wake up. It's Friday, your first day of school. In your PJ's, you head downstairs. Lucas is the only one up.

[Lucas]:...Mornin'. Mom's already at work. Schools in an hour, I think. Might wanna get ready.

You go back upstairs, grabbing the uniform in your closet, and get dressed. God, it looks terrible.
Anything else you should do before you head off?

Faceplant into the milk.

Brush your teeth. Or take a shower or something.

Make something for lunch real quick.

Your hour is spent brushing your teeth, eating breakfast and making a quick salad for lunch. Lucas motions to you that it's time to leave.
You and him walk to school together. Catherine's House is only five blocks away from Ellwood Academy, so it doesn't take long. Eventually, you two reach the schoolgrounds. Students are congregating out in the courtyard surrounding the school. Lucas glances over to a group of kids, then quickly talks to you.

[Lucas]: I've gotta go, friends are waiting. Here, Mom got your schedule early. We share Algebra II and Earth Sciences. I'll see you later.

He heads off to his friends. You quickly glance at the schedule. It seems basic. You have Homeroom first. As soon as you look away, the bell rings. The group outside of the school moves in, flooding the main hall. You eventually make it to your homeroom. Taking an empty seat near the middle, you find yourself easedropping on conversations.

[Red Haired Student]: So, Ms. Nicholeson died like that card thing?
[Student Wearing Glasses]: Yeah...That's just messed up.
[Student with Long Hair]: Wonder who'll teach the class now.

It seems everyone is talking about the murders. Three students are talking near you.

[Student w/ Plaid Jacket]: Yo, did you get last night's trig homework done?
[Athletic Girl]: You're asking me? If anyone, ask Skylar.
[Skylar]: Uh...yeah, it's done. But, you know, I probably did it wrong.
[Student w/ Plaid Jacket]: daisies... surprised you got it done at all, Skylar. You know, with all the commotion in your neighborhood?
[Athletic Girl]: Yeah, there's now way I couldn't focus. Probably would've headed out and check out the scene, too.
[Athletic Girl]: Sucks, too. Ms. N was my favorite teacher. Hope we get a good sub.
[Student w/ Plaid Jacket]: And that shit with those Carrot cards? Sounds straight out of a bad video game.
[Skylar]: Tarot, Elliot.
[Elliot]: Yeah, yeah.

The athletic girl stretches and notices you.

[Athletic Girl]: Hey! You're that girl from the airport, right? Huh, small world!
[Elliot]: Huh? Dani, you know her?
[Dani]: Uh, I guess? I saw her at O'Hare. She had a Teddie Bear bag, and I wanted to strike up a conversation with her.
[Dani]: Anyway, name's Dani. You're new here, huh?

[Dani]: Wow, NYC, huh? Well, tell you what. Come sit by us at lunch, and we can help you get acquainted here. We usually eat up on the roof. This is Elliot, guess you can call him the 'class clown.'
Elliot waves and gives you a thumbs up.
[Skylar]: Name's Skylar. Wrestling star of the school.

They seem nice. Should you take them up on their offer?

Sorry that the story is going so slow, I'm going to speed it up to Sunday after Friday. Also Update tonight soon

Sorry for double posting but I think I'll just transfer this to a fanfiction, it's probably go smoother and less slow. Sorry, it's been fun.
