So, what do you guys prefer? Do you thrive on the bright lights of the big cities, or do you prefer camping out in the countryside under the stars? Or perhaps you like a little bit of both, perhaps a small village tucked away somewhere.

Personally, I love both of them, but... I think I might have to be more of a city boy. I miss my bed whenever I need to sleep in a sleeping bag, and I think if I didn't have friends to play/speak with I'd be very bored growing up on a farm. It would be nice to have 'Famous Five' adventures with my friends though, but even after awhile, I'd miss going out to town at night, catching the train with drunken strangers, meeting all the people, hearing foreign languages and eating exotic food.

It should go without saying, but don't tell the disembodied face anything.

Yeah, not in the middle of a city, but close enough to just go/drive over.

I know what you mean. The sounds of nightlife and people having fun and the lights being on and especially at Christmas when there's all the special lights and then there's the big massive buildings and flashing images and yeah I think it's great.

Although I don't live in a massive city (about the 4th biggest in England) so I don't know how it compares to New York or places like that, I've only been out in London at night once and that was pretty fun too.

I live in the city, bit its like a suburb neighborhood in the city. Its more like little bubbles of suburb inside a hustle bustle city, though downtowns not too far away.

I live in a pretty dense place in the summer, but you wouldn't know that just by looking at the immediate area of my house.

Our house is near a river which I go fishing in all the time, with another town being right across it. There's like 3 woods... woodses... wood..i(?) wooded areas near me. I love living near all these trees.

I live only a few miles from the beach, near a pretty big town. It's nice, I guess.

I prefer being in-between. I live pretty close to urban areas but my neighborhood is right next to a large forest, so it's really quiet and nice. I guess overall I'd prefer the country, but I don't like not living near things like stores and restaurants.

I guess I sorta like being in the country but still have easy access to the city.

Unfortunately, I don't have easy access to the city.

I think I would like living in a big city. I mean, for some reason I just find it appealing. Lights, meeting new people everywhere I go, nightlife, and the opportunities. I live in a small town, so I mean I don't really have much to compare to. I went to downtown Atlanta once, that was pretty daisies cool in my opinion.

I mean, shit, it's like an adventure everywhere you go, or a misadventure. The cool dudes playing guitar in the park, the huge booty buildings, the stumbling drunk that was following us around asking my dad about the braves or something.

I mean, I didn't really get a full experience out of it, I was with my folks and all. But something about living in an apartment and living the city life just sounds exciting to me. It would definitely be a fun thing to get to experience.

Living in the country blows

Never lived in a bigger city though so I can't really compare the two
