AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I slipped and fell on the ice while running late to my bus stop today. I didn't make it to the bus, needless to say.

Icy page get!

I ended up pretending I was dancing in a parking lot when I slipped and righted myself, but had to look like I did it on purpose.

The trick to running on snow and not slip is to not run, but stomp.

I'd still probably fall. I'm that graceless.

Yet, I'm in the schools dance group/choir. What gives?

So thats why when it snows here everyone runs and slips everywhere...Usually into fences or the ill-placed cacti.

wednesday our school got delayed until 10am. too bad my first class was at 10. me and my roommates were praying and hoping and stalking the weather channel and local news, we so desperately wanted classes to be cancelled. but only one of us got to sleep in.

the crazy weather for us started tuesday. it got really freaking cold, it was in the 30s all day (and i still had to walk to work, which is a 20 min walk), then it finally started raining at like 9, and by 10 it was freezing over. sleet and freezing rain fell off and on all night (kept waking me up) until like 5 am. it was 25 degrees when i got up. everything was covered in ice. it was fun walking to class and sliding around on the grass. people at my apartment complex were still scraping ice off their cars at noon. we had icicles still at 3 pm. some kids had to leave their cars at home and walk to class because they couldnt open their doors. i still think they should have cancelled school.
