how about we say it was an accident and leave it at that instead of de-railing and getting off topic and becoming douchebags like we usually do :U

yeah it was horrible, it was a terrible thing to do. let's keep it at that.

The worst part of it is, they were in the wrong part of the building. The suspect was in the upstairs apartment of the duplex.

Apparently, no one reads the original post. The police were in the right building, but they were in the wrong apartment. The suspected killer has no relation to the family. They just lived in the same building. Still, it's pretty sad that the police didn't know which apartment to raid.

The point I've been trying to make is that sure it's an accident, but it was an accident that can almost be entirely blamed on the police being in the wrong apartment and having there guns out at people who I'm guessing looked nothing like the suspect and then, really what pisses me off more then anything, is how they're trying to put the blame on others like the mother and grandmother.

also
should this be moved to Taboo? Since it's sort of becoming a debate.

Did I not just point out that they were in the correct building, but the wrong apartment?

Okay my bad. Not any better at all though.

The police aren't allowed to be "close"

It was a Duplex. The same family lived in it just the girls family and then her aunt's family. The person suspected of murder that the police were after was the girl's aunt's fiance who murdered a 17 year old because "he didn't like how the guy looked at him." The girls father was also supposed to be there when the 17 yr old was murdered. There is also rumor of a video tape of the encounter which showed what went on outside the home but not inside.

Once again it was not an apartment complex, it was a duplex. It looked like a stand alone house with a front and back yard.

This is all stuff I bodaciously just heard on the Channel 4 News for Detroit at 11 pm EST on 5/17/2010.
