Well, movies based on graphic novels haven't let us down yet.

And considering it's been written by David Hayter, chances are, it'll be awesome.

I don't understand a bit of it, but it looks epic.

Is the graphic novel on the intarweb?

Go buy it. Watchmen is pretty much the best comic ever written, and it's only $20 for all of it.

I got my teachers to read it about one year ago. It's brilliant, but unfortunately won't translate well into a 3 hour movie, much of its metaphors and genius will be lost, complex plots and character development aren't exactly Snyder's strength - but as far as aesthetics go it's looking good so far, all costumes are pretty much perfect (apart from Ozy's, who looks way too skinny, especially his neck), I really dig the cheap 80s flick look he's going for - the oversaturated colors and all.

OH GOD I JUST NOTICED DR. BLUEPENIS DOESN'T HAVE A PENIS

HE'S MORE LIKE DR. INDEFINITE-FUZZY-CROTCH NOW

FUCK YOU SYNDER AND MPAA

I saw the trailer during the previews of The Dark Knight. Me and my friends were the only ones making noise about it while the rest of the cinema was dead silent.

The best part about seeing Watchmen isn't seeing Watchmen, it's telling everyone you saw Watchmen thirty-five minutes ago.
