Signatures

i was just wondering if there was anyone on this forum that has worked on or with signatures in photoshop, gimp, etc.

cause id like some cnc on this sig i just made.

any other comments are welcome too. been like a year since ive even fiddled in ps

I play around with GIMP, but just with simple stuff.

Looks rather professional to me.
I sure couldn't manage something like that. ;]

I use the highly advanced tools that are MSPaint and Photobucket's resize feature.

C&C? Um, well, I guess the text bothers me, you could use a more, uh, suitable font? I dunno, like download a grungy looking font or something?

ya i wouldve used a different font but basic PS has shit for fonts.

Well, I've been fooling around with Photoshop Elements for the past couple of years, and I recently got CS3, but I still find Elements more useful. (Basically because it doesn't take 10 minuets to load up)

If I saw the original image, I'd be able to clearly defy what's been edited, but you can always try downloading custom brushes from dA. A girl I know from another small site I casually go to, is highly into graphics design and does tonnes of it. I've learned quite a bit from talking to her about signature making and it's helped. :]

These are some links I can give you to some examples of hers and some tutorials for Photoshop.

Textures You can overlay these on a image, or cut out an image and put this as a background. It goes on and on.

Wow, there are some ones in there that I like a lot. I like the Knucles one, awesome background. c: In fact, I like a tonne of the backgrounds. xD

lol its alright.

and i believe knuckles is indeed one of my best. the outcome for the tut i tried was just superb. every thing meshed together. the other one, the sonic sig, was the same tut but i used that one first and learned from it.

It's proally' a lot better than mine was. e_e Mine was a cropped image, with crappy 'effects', and text. xP

I'm still crap at making things, but I try. xD I use ps for art more now.
