I apparently have the stereotypical Canadian accent where I say aboot and eh? a lot.

And I say the short a's.
So the correct way to say drama is DRAW-MUH and not DRAH-MUH? Or have I got my short a's mixed up?

I live in Southern California. I am required by law to wear sunglasses 24/7 and to curse overly-much. Bitch.

We have an eclectic mix. Me and my friends tend to use outdated words, and our current project is bringing back 'Fisticuffs' and 'Glib'.

Also we all like, tend to like, talk like valley girls, ya know! Despite ya know, totally not living near a valley at all!

Around here the kids say "That's triflin'" a lot. I have yet to figure out what it really means. I have no idea whether other people say it like that or if it's just down here. Like, say, if the teacher says "Okay, because you won't be quiet you're getting homework" everyone will groan and someone will say "That's triflin'!"

Other than that we have normal city kid slang. We like to put the word "mad" in front of everything. "That's mad gay." "That's mad dumb." "That's mad stupid." Or, as I like to say, "That's mad homosexual, yo."

Also I like to say fisticuffs too.

Oh, do not make me start about Norwegian slang. I have written a couple of texts about it and sick about how bad it is. All I can say is that we get more slang from languages like English, Middle-Eastern and such (and maybe Japanese now, but that is only around small groups of Anime and Manga fans).

Still, we got some old Norwegian sayings.
"Vi tar det på freda'n." (Vi tar det på fredagen)
We take it on the Friday.
It means that we'll do it or take care of it when it comes.
