In the beginning of the game, I didn't really have any sort of stable "plan" on how to use the "lookout" powers, so I figured I'd put the bug out that someone (it didn't even have to be turbo) get a shiv so that maybe the manufacturer give him a shiv, and we know who the manufacturer is. Hell, I was just hoping SOMEBODY would bite so that I could at least get a name for a power role (which actually happened). You can see why I couldn't openly explain that in the thread during the day.
As for marcato stating to lynch Turbo because "might as well", the main thing on that was that you didn't really call the logic into question by saying "That's not a reason to lynch him." Yu called it into question by then suggesting we lynch someone else (me). Had it been the first one, which I did with D-Vid a couple of games ago (where he ended up being mafia), it would've been fine, but you openly called on me as the one who should be lynched...and then Ycobb got on board.
When I suspect people, you notice I never really throw the option to flat out lynch them. I pull up the things that make them suspicious, and let everyone else come to their own conclusions. Most of it is just to get people talking where the idea for a lynch comes later, because the talking can actually lead to somebody being more trustworthy than someone who hadn't been given a chance to defend themself. When you flat out lynch someone, the counter suspicion goes more towards you being a bad guy hoping to sway a lynch out of the town rather than a townie just trying to determine who the bad guys are. Then again, that's just my own philosophy. The main thing that annoyed me is I had to use the shitty reasoning because my REAL reasoning had to stay hidden.
