man, just wait until you reach episode 25. that episode will BLOW YOUR MIND! seriously.
Yes, yes it will. My mind is officially blown. Well, if we're talking about the same episode, that is. Spolier alert! Wee-ooo wee-ooo!
The singing scene with Misa was unexpected. The only other theatrical piece like that I remember is way back in the early episodes when Light starts writing names in the Notebook. It was pretty well done, I thought, even though Misa really grates on the nerves sometimes. I totally wasn't expecting Rem to off Watari for some reason. I always just assumed L would die and that's that. I mean, it makes sense now, but it was just one of those things I wasn't expecting. And then Ryuzaki just falls out of the chair. Even though he's L there's no dramatics, no extravagant death. Just a heart attack like everyone else. Nothing special to show he was somehow important. I can't wait to see where it goes from here, especially since the website I get them from has 37 episodes on there. If that's all there is, I wonder how they're going to finish everything off now that L is out of the way. Everybody else is 100% sure Light isn't Kira, so he has no obvious enemy anymore. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out. Especially since there was some debate earlier in this topic about the quality of the ending.
Yeah. Kinda weird, but pretty cool. I think the new style is awesome.
